I’m aware I haven’t been writing very much of what we’ve been eating recently. SO! Here are a few updates. We’ve had my husband’s homemade linguine. Last night we went to my Mum and Dad’s house and in order to celebrate Chinese New year, had beautiful fried rice with lardons and leeks, with marinated ducks and crisp greens (followed by not very Chinese dark chocolate and hazelnut oat slices and chunks of pineapple.) Tonight we are having Black Farmer gluten free sausages with corn porridge ‘mash’, maybe with cheese and some onions and peas.

Last night when I got home from work, my husband had made a new canapé, that we might try out on some friends next week- an oat cake topped with toasted ras-el-hanout, melted cheese and sloe jelly. Beautiful!
