What do you do with leftovers?
We had many days of roast dinners- the actual event and then two days following with full plates of roasts also. Now we just have bits and bobs left. So for lunch I did a mixed platter of things from the fridge- turkey, sausages, stuffing, cheese, cooked tomatoes.
Now we just have the ‘difficult to use up’ things left: bread sauce (Baker Brothers recipe) and Nigella’s gingerbread stuffing. I am thinking I may have to cook our gammon so that we can have ham and stuffing sandwiches (or another roast) but the bread sauce is an interesting one. I have just found an article which suggests making it into ham croquettes. I think I will try that, I loooove croquettes!
If we only had leftover Christmas pudding and we could make truffles!
