Last night was a vegetarian night. We had butternut squash and sweet potato mash with cayenne, cooked with garlic and ground pepper, topped with butter fried bread crumbs and floured mozzarella. Followed by a blackberry and apple corn-flake crumble….
This evening is date night and it’s starting with soup, which I am heating up downstairs. My brother in law made 1,000 servings for their local bonfire night and as you might expect, there was some left over. I had a very little part to say in the chopping of vegetables but it will be nice to enjoy the warming results!
